Awakening Vajra Australia is a meditation group that practices the meditation instruction given by our teacher Gyalten Khen Rinpoche.
Khen Rinpoche is the Spiritual Director of Awakening Vajra International, the Abbot of Lama Gaun monastery and the Director of many socially engaged Buddhist projects.
Gyalten Khen Rinpoche is a masterful Tibetan Buddhist teacher, practitioner and scholar in the Gelupa and Kagyu lineage traditions. Rinpoche teaches from the heart, giving unique insights into mind and body through meditation, somatic work and ancient practices derived from Buddhist yogis of the past. He skillfully combines contemporary approaches with ancient wisdom creating a unique approach to health and wellbeing.
